JasonFurr.com Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-06-20 Last updated: 2026-06-20
Overview
This global Privacy Policy explains how JasonFurr.com ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the public website at www.jasonfurr.com (the "Site").
The Site is a static publishing platform for an independent developer's profile, product pages, legal documents, and support content. It does not require accounts and, by default, does not collect personal data beyond the standard server and hosting logs described below.
Individual products (games and applications) may publish their own product-specific privacy policies. A product-specific privacy policy always takes precedence over this global policy for that product. Where a product has its own policy, refer to that document for the data practices that apply to it. This global policy is intended to govern the public website itself and to serve as a default for products that do not yet publish a separate policy.
Our default posture is data minimization: the public website does not require accounts and collects no personal data beyond standard hosting logs. If we later add analytics, embedded media, contact forms, or other data-collecting features to the Site, this policy will be updated before those features go live, and material changes will be versioned and archived.
Developer and contact information
- Developer / entity: JasonFurr.com (operated by Jason Furr).
- Legal entity name: [legal entity name]
- Mailing address: [mailing address]
- Privacy contact: privacy@jasonfurr.com
The developer or entity named here is the party responsible for the data practices described in this policy and is the point of contact for privacy inquiries. For product listings in the Apple App Store or Google Play, the developer identity in the listing matches the identity named here or in the applicable product-specific privacy policy.
Scope
This policy applies to:
- The public website at www.jasonfurr.com, including its profile pages, product pages, legal and policy pages, and support pages.
This policy does not apply to:
- Products (games and applications) that publish their own product-specific privacy policy. For those products, the product-specific policy controls.
- Third-party websites and services that we link to. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
- App store platforms (Apple App Store, Google Play) and their handling of your data, which is governed by those platforms' own policies.
Data we collect
The public website does not collect personal data beyond standard hosting logs. It does not require you to create an account, does not run analytics, and does not serve advertising.
The only data processing that occurs by default is the standard server and hosting activity that is necessary to deliver web pages:
- Server / hosting logs. Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider may automatically record limited technical information when your browser requests a page. This can include your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page or resource requested, the HTTP status code, the referring page, and basic user-agent information (such as your browser and operating system). This information is generated by the hosting infrastructure for reliability, security, and abuse-prevention purposes and is not used to build user profiles or to identify individual visitors.
We do not, on the public website:
- Require or create user accounts.
- Collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or payment information through the Site itself.
- Run first-party or third-party analytics.
- Serve advertising or use advertising identifiers.
- Use cookies for tracking. (If any strictly necessary cookies are introduced, this policy will be updated to describe them.)
If you choose to contact us by email (for example, a support or privacy inquiry), we will receive the information you include in that message, such as your email address and the content of your message. We use that information only to respond to and process your inquiry.
Data collected by third-party services
The public website is designed to minimize third-party data collection. By default, the Site does not embed third-party analytics, advertising, social tracking, or similar SDKs.
If we add any third-party service that collects or processes data on the Site (for example, embedded video, a hosted contact form, or analytics), we will:
- Update this policy before the service goes live.
- Identify the third-party service and the categories of data it processes.
- Link to that service's own privacy policy.
Current third-party services with data access: [third-party services]. Where no such service is in use, this list reflects that the Site relies only on the hosting provider needed to serve static pages.
For products distributed through app stores, any third-party SDKs used by a product are disclosed in that product's own privacy policy and in the corresponding app store privacy or data-safety disclosures, consistent with our SDK-alignment process.
How we use data
We use the limited data described above only for the following purposes:
- Operating and securing the Site. Server and hosting logs are used to keep the Site available, diagnose technical problems, and detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or attacks.
- Responding to inquiries. If you email us, we use the information in your message to respond to and resolve your request.
- Complying with legal obligations. We may use or retain information where necessary to comply with applicable law or to respond to lawful requests.
We do not use data on the public website to build advertising profiles, to serve targeted ads, or to track you across other websites or services.
How we share data
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may share limited information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. Our hosting and infrastructure providers process the technical log data necessary to deliver and protect the Site on our behalf.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business transfers. If JasonFurr.com is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy or a successor policy.
We do not otherwise share, rent, or sell personal data to third parties.
Data retention
We retain data only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law.
- Server / hosting logs are retained for a limited operational period sufficient for reliability, security, and abuse-prevention purposes, then deleted or aggregated in the ordinary course. Specific retention windows are governed by our hosting provider's configuration and our operational needs.
- Email correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to handle your inquiry and to maintain a reasonable record of support and privacy requests.
Because the public website does not maintain user accounts, there is no stored account profile to retain or delete.
Data deletion
Because the public website does not create user accounts, there is generally no account data for us to delete. If you have sent us an email or otherwise provided information you would like removed, or if you have a deletion request relating to a specific product, you can submit a request as described in our Data Deletion Instructions.
For products that collect data, deletion requests are handled according to that product's own data-deletion instructions and privacy policy.
Security
We take reasonable measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our approach includes:
- Static, minimal attack surface. The public website is a static site with no public content-management system, no application database, and no always-on server-side application, which substantially reduces the data and attack surface.
- Auditable publishing. Content is published through an auditable CI/CD pipeline from a private source repository. Production changes are attributable to specific commits and reviews.
- Transport security. The Site is served over HTTPS with managed TLS certificates, and insecure requests are redirected to HTTPS.
- Least privilege. Access to publishing and infrastructure is limited and uses modern authentication practices.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
The public website is not directed to children and is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the public website.
We are committed to compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable children's privacy laws. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child in a manner inconsistent with applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
Some products may be directed to children or may be likely to appeal to children. Any such product publishes a dedicated children's privacy section in its own product-specific privacy policy, and is designed and reviewed with applicable requirements (such as COPPA, the Apple Kids Category, and the Google Play Families program) in mind. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us at privacy@jasonfurr.com.
International users
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, please be aware that information processed in connection with the Site may be processed in, or transferred to, the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. Data protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws of your country.
By using the Site, you understand that information may be processed as described in this policy. Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate safeguards for international data transfers and honor applicable data subject rights. The governing law for this policy is the law of [governing-law jurisdiction].
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do:
- We will revise the "Last updated" date above.
- Material changes are versioned, and prior versions are archived for reference.
- If we add features that collect, use, or share data in new ways, we will update this policy before those features become active.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Site after an updated policy becomes effective indicates your awareness of the updated practices to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Platform notes (iOS / Android)
The public website does not collect data through iOS or Android apps; this section applies to products distributed through app stores, which publish their own product-specific privacy policies.
- Apple App Store. Each app provides a Privacy Policy URL and, where relevant, a User Privacy Choices URL in App Store Connect. The app's privacy "nutrition label" data-type disclosures are kept consistent with the product's privacy policy and its actual behavior.
- Google Play. Each app provides an active, publicly accessible, non-PDF privacy policy URL in Play Console, and completes the Data safety section. The Data safety disclosures are kept consistent with the product's privacy policy and the behavior of any SDKs the app includes.
When a product adds or changes an SDK that affects data collection, use, or sharing, the product's privacy policy and the relevant app store disclosures are updated, and the legal pages are deployed, before the corresponding app update is submitted.
